You'll even find lots of good pubs and restaurants. Leave your luggage at your B&B or camping place in order to travel relax around Windermere, our central point for those two road books. Take your time and make lots of pictures in those beautifull landscapes where your sight know no limits !
This touristical region should be avoided in summer. Easy driving all over the region with perfect road conditions. Do try the buttermere pub and the scenery walk till the lake. Lots of pubs and "bar food" available all over the region. Stop at the first petrol station if you doubt of your left autonomy.

Roulé ces 24-28/02/2011. Super tracé mais 2 remarques : parfois délicat en voiture car étroitesse des routes et visibilité nulle en raison des murs les longeant.
Fin de parcours via une route devenue privée à proscrire car irrespectueux malgré la possibilité de passer.
