Depending on the arrival time in Weymouth, one could directly take the road to reach Exeter, or quietly stay in the neighborhood and look for a place to stay. After a resting time in Exeter around the impressive cathedral and old town centre, one carries on the road in the Dartmoor National Park in the heart of Devon. Widespread landscapes, dales and roads criss-crossing wide areas. Two loops offers to adapt the itinerary according to the available time. In Gunnislake, true Cornwall, and the road becomes more twisty descending towards the seashore villages of Looe and Polpero. The latter is well hidden in a rock labyrinth out of which we finally discover the small fishermen harbour. Crossing with the ferry in Fowey, and a few 60 km more to travel to finish this road book at the sea shorre village of Saint-Mawes. An absolute idyllic place, charming at all seasons.
